“Awesome 3 day Safari in and around St Lucia” trip-ad

We booked the 3 day package and were picked up from our resort in Durban on the first day at 11 and driven down to St Lucia. After checking into our Lodge which was superb we headed off for our first trip the Hippo and Croc boat trip. After a quick dinner we then had a night drive into the Isimaangaliso wetland Park. The day was tiring and exhilarating at the same time. Day 2 up at 4.15 for a 5am start for the Big 5 Safari in Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game reserve. Day 3 Isimangaliso Wetland park awesome, despite the weather. Stacey and Phillip were our guides, they were outstanding and loved what they were doing. They were so enthusiastic to share their knowledge with us and desperate to show us as much as they could we were out longer than they were scheduled to be at no extra cost to us. They definitely went that bit extra to give us the experience of a life time. We will definitely go back and find those lions and leopards and will book through Heritage they ticked all the boxes for us.

We really enjoyed the variety of all 4 trips, brilliantly organised by Precious.

Moreover we spent the 3 full days with Jonathan Webster, Dennis and Theo who were superb. They were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, responsive to our questions, fun to be with and the perfect hosts.

Please pass our thanks on to you all for an experience we will never forget.

Thank you very much for the amazing time we spent in St Lucia. The safari tours, hippo cruise, guides Shark, John & Vusi were all great. Very informative and we saw 4/5 of the big 5. Our South African holiday was made truly memorable by your company. Thank you.

A backpack that is either dust or water proof with various size zip lock bags for those valuable memory cards and camera lenses. Please do refrain from wearing brightly colored clothing while out on safari. Wear comfortable clothing, summer temperatures can be quite warm while winter temperatures are very pleasant. All game drive vehicles carry extra bottled water's and blankets for the transfers further all vehicles have hard tops and they can also close up completely for your convenience.

What to expect

Zululand is a picturesque with its rolling hills and incredible wildlife, staying over in St Lucia will undoubtedly add value as this area was proclaimed as a world heritage site in 1999 due to mainly its incredible biospheres and wildlife. Imagine Hippo's still roaming the streets at night in search for pasture or bush babies in the trees.

Nowhere else can one enjoy both bush and beach and wildlife in such an incredible setting.
