Please note that day rates and gate fees are the same:
International Visitors R220.00 per person children under the age of 12 are half price
South Africans R110.00 per person and children under the age of 12 are half price
This is a slight increase on the 2016 day rates which were.
International Visitors R200.00 per person and children under the age of 12 where half price
South African visitors R95.00 per person and children under the age of 12 where half price.
This slight increase comes as a relief as Kruger National Park day rates are currently R240.00 per person. Hluhluwe Game Reserve is a tremendous reserve to travel too while in the Zululand area, not only has one a chance of witnessing the African Big 5 but also Cheetah and Wild Dogs to mention of a few of the glorious sightings that you may come across while in the reserve. 96000 hectares in area and ample area to explore and discover travel to the umfolozi game reserve section as this area offers some incredible scenery and more often better sightings due to the topography and vegetation.
Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve Safari Rates as of 2017:
Half Day Safari Rates: R750.00 per person this includes conservation levies, bush breakfast, open game drive vehicle and experienced game rangers
Full Day Safari Rates: R850.00 per person this includes conservation levies, bush breakfast, lunch, open game drive vehicle and experienced game rangers.
